TempDefender Product OverView
The TempDefenderTM system is a unique addition to the Vehiclepath fleet tracking product line. This solution provides real-time monitoring of critical temperature data as well as continuous fleet tracking.
We have specifically designed and developed this product with the Refrigerated Transport Fleet in mind. Temperature data is provided every 15-minutes and color coded to track temperature data against pre-determined set points.
Fleet tracking data provides a bread-crumb trail to track trip status and is also color coded to indicate whether the vehicle is stationary or moving.
The TempDefenderTM system provides numerous key fleet and temperature alerts starting with notification of whether the container temperature exceeds specified high and low set-points. Additional alerts include notification if the device is disconnected from its power source with the use of an optional back-up battery and whether the reefer temperature controller is on or off.
The TempDefenderTM system includes configurable parameters and firmware that can be updated over-the-air. It is also fully supported by our optional two-year and three-year extended warranties.
